- Content description
The course equips students with the most basic knowledge about the public sector, public income, public goods, theory of government intervention in the market, tools for financial theory analysis, public expenditure policy analysis and public selection.
- Objectives of the subject
The subject helps students master the core principles of public finance; then collate with the guidelines and policies of the Party and the State of Vietnam for analysis and manipulation. With this knowledge, students can identify themselves in the right direction after graduation and take on jobs related to public sector economic policy and in line with their abilities and interests. .
To achieve the goals, students should:
– Understand basic public sector knowledge: public income, public goods, public expenditures, state budget overspending, and public financial policy.
– Have ability to apply new and modern knowledge and old but valid concepts to economies in the world and in Vietnam.
