Project Management is offered to students in the fourth year to equip students with knowledge, definition of project, project cycle management, situation analysis, cause analysis then students find it easy for a specific problem to be solved from the project. The subject also helps students become acquainted with the structure, how to build and manage a project, so that they can easily access to the job in international organizations and non-governmental organizations.
- Objectives of the subject
The subject is to provide students with the knowledge and skills to manage activities within the project area, risk analysis skills, quality management, document management, budget and construction; maintain relationships with project stakeholders, including donors and stakeholders.
Students should:
– Understand concepts, definitions, project cycle management, logframe, project implementation plans, project implementation partners, pilot communities, and process-related terms.
– Know how to analyze problem logic, objectives, and identify core causes;
– Know how to analyze the roles and responsibilities of the project participants;
– Understand how to establish and maintain relationships with community and project partners; methods of building logframe and means of verifying implementation results;
– Understand the methods of analysis, risk management and quality control in the project management process.
